Job Description
Palma Beach Resort and Spa is hiring a skilled Demi Chef De Partie (DCDP) to support the Chef de Partie and manage a station within the kitchen. The DCDP plays a key role in food preparation, quality control, and mentoring junior staff.
Responsibilities:
- Run a specific station or area of the kitchen under the guidance of the Chef de Partie.
- Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipe standards during service.
- Ensure accurate portion control and maintain food quality consistency.
- Train Commis Chefs and ensure the station maintains hygiene standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience (2-3 years) as a DCDP or experienced Commis 1 in a hotel or resort kitchen.
- Professional culinary qualification/certification.
- Strong practical cooking skills and attention to detail.
