Job Description
The Tower Plaza Hotel is hiring a talented Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) - Pastry to assist the Chef de Partie in running the Pastry section. This role involves specialized creation of desserts, bakery items, and high-quality pastry products for all hotel outlets.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and produce a wide range of desserts, pastries, and baked goods according to hotel standards and recipes.
- Assist the Chef de Partie in monitoring inventory, quality control, and minimizing waste in the Pastry section.
- Ensure the Pastry station is clean, organized, and compliant with all hygiene regulations.
- Support Commis Chefs and guide their technical development.
Requirements:
- Previous experience (3+ years) as a DCDP or Commis 1 in a professional hotel or high-end pastry kitchen.
- Specialized training or qualification in Pastry Arts.
- Proven technical skill in baking, decorating, and dessert presentation.
