Head Waitress

The Head Waitress is a vital leadership position on the dining floor, responsible for leading the service team during shifts. Key responsibilities include ensuring seamless table service, coordinating with the kitchen and bar, managing reservations, and handling guest concerns. This role requires an individual with exemplary service standards and the ability to mentor junior staff.

• Responsibilities:
• Lead the service section during peak hours, ensuring all standards of service and presentation are met.
• Provide on-the-job coaching to Waiters and Pool Waiters.
• Oversee table management and ensure efficient guest seating and service flow.
• Handle customer queries and resolve minor service challenges promptly and professionally.
• Assist the Assistant Restaurant Manager with daily operational tasks.
• Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Head Waitress or Supervisor in a high-end restaurant.
• Exceptional communication and delegation skills.
• Detailed knowledge of menu items, wines, and classic service etiquette.
