Job Description

The Housekeeping Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring the hotel's standards of luxury and cleanliness are consistently met, directly contributing to the guest experience. This role reports to the Housekeeping Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an Ambassador of Fairmont Dubai by consistently providing memorable guest experiences.
  • Responsible for the daily assignment of cleaning Guest rooms and public areas to the hotel's exacting standards.
  • Monitor and maintain the daily operating supplies of the floor pantry, including chemicals, linens, amenities, and stationery.
  • Report observations, requests, inquiries, and guest concerns to the Floor Supervisor or Office Coordinator promptly.
  • Ensure key control procedures are followed and adhere to all Hotel security policies.
  • Report for duty punctually, maintaining the hotel's standards for personal appearance, hygiene, and uniform.
  • Attend the daily briefing conducted by Department Leaders.
  • Perform other additional duties and special projects as directed by Housekeeping Leaders.
  • Strictly follow all Occupational Health & Safety regulations and Fairmont’s Code of Ethics.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must possess outstanding Guest service skills, professional presentation, and sophisticated verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be Guest-oriented, possess a vibrant personality, and demonstrate strong initiative.
  • High level of observational skills & attention to details is essential.
  • Proficient in the English language (verbal and written); a second or third language is an asset.
  • Ability to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment.
  • Must be flexible in terms of working hours and capable of working with little or no supervision.
  • Must be a strong team player committed to departmental cooperation.
