This entry-level role is crucial for kitchen efficiency, involving preparation work, cleaning, and assisting the Chef de Parties. - Responsibilities:
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks (e.g., washing, peeling, chopping) as directed by the senior chefs.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and waste disposal.
- Assist in the organization and storage of ingredients, ensuring proper rotation (FIFO).
- Follow all instructions from Chef de Parties and the Sous Chef promptly.
