Lifting Appointed Person

Gulf Contractors is hiring a Lifting Appointed Person responsible for developing and managing safe systems of work for all lifting operations, ensuring compliance with heavy lifting regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed lifting plans, risk assessments, and method statements (RAMS) for all critical and non-routine lifting operations.
• Select appropriate lifting equipment, gear, and personnel for each lift.
• Supervise the execution of lifting plans on-site, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain all lifting equipment certification and documentation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Lifting Appointed Person in major construction projects.
• Recognized certification in Lifting Operations Planning (e.g., LEEA, relevant international standards).
• Strong knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging, and safety standards.
