- Role Overview: The Site Engineer will be responsible for the technical leadership and day-to-day execution of infrastructure projects. You will bridge the gap between architectural drawings and physical construction, ensuring every kilometer of road meets international standards.
- Roles & Responsibilities:
- Site Supervision: Manage daily site activities, supervising labor crews, and ensuring that road and infrastructure works progress according to the project timeline.
- Technical Compliance: Review construction drawings, shop drawings, and specifications to identify potential discrepancies before they impact the budget.
- Machinery Coordination: Oversee the deployment of heavy machinery and transport equipment, ensuring optimal usage and maintenance coordination.
- Quality & Safety: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and Quality Assurance protocols.
- Reporting: Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for project managers, detailing resource allocation, delays, and milestones achieved.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Attested).
- Minimum 3+ years of direct experience in UAE roadworks and infrastructure.
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment and engineering software (AutoCAD, MS Project).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse multicultural teams on-site.
