Job Description
The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain, including procurement, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution for all catering operations. This role ensures that all supplies, ingredients, and equipment are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively to maintain seamless service delivery and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage logistics strategies, ensuring optimal route planning and on-time delivery.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management, storage, and material handling.
- Negotiate contracts with transport vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.
- Ensure strict compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and transport regulations.
- Utilize logistics software to track shipments, monitor performance, and analyze data to improve efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Logistics Manager, preferably within the catering, food and beverage, or FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management abilities.
- Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach to process management.
