The Uniform Room Supervisor is responsible for managing the inventory, issuance, repair, and maintenance of all staff uniforms prior to and post-opening. This role ensures that all hotel colleagues are provided with clean, well-fitting, and high-quality uniforms at all times, reflecting the luxury standard of the LXR brand.
- Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation of the uniform room, including cleaning schedules, inventory control, and tracking of uniform issuance.
- Manage uniform repairs, alterations, and liaise with external laundry or tailoring services.
- Ensure accurate sizing and fit for all new and existing team members.
- Maintain impeccable organization and hygiene within the uniform room space.
- Assist the Housekeeping management team with administrative tasks related to staff attire.
- Requirements:
- Proven supervisory experience in a Uniform Room or high-volume laundry/housekeeping operation, preferably in a hotel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail regarding garment inventory and quality.
- Knowledge of fabric care and repair standards.
