Job Description

The Chef de Partie (CDP) - Pastry is responsible for running a specific section within the pastry kitchen, ensuring all production is executed efficiently and to the standards set by the Pastry Chef. This includes daily preparation, production, delegation of tasks, and quality control of assigned items, ensuring consistency and minimizing waste.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie, specifically in pastry.
  • Expertise in executing advanced pastry techniques and large-batch production.
  • Ability to effectively supervise Commis I and delegate tasks to maintain workflow.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a section independently.
  • Thorough knowledge of product rotation and inventory management within the pastry section.
