Engineering Supervisor

Southern Sun Abu Dhabi is hiring an Engineering Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily maintenance and repair activities within the hotel. This role is crucial for ensuring all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems operate safely and efficiently, minimizing disruption to hotel guests and operations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and assign tasks to the engineering and maintenance team, ensuring timely completion of all work orders.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs for all hotel equipment and building systems (HVAC, fire safety, plumbing, electrical).
• Conduct technical inspections and assist technicians in troubleshooting complex maintenance issues.
• Ensure all maintenance procedures strictly adhere to hotel standards and local health and safety regulations.
• Manage maintenance inventory and report regularly on departmental activities to the Engineering Manager.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a maintenance supervisory role, preferably within the hospitality sector.
• A relevant technical qualification (Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services).
• Strong technical knowledge across various building systems (MEP).
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
