LPG Design Engineer

Royal Gas is seeking a qualified LPG Design Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the UAE gas industry and a strong understanding of local regulations and international codes. This role involves designing LPG systems for various applications, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and providing technical support through installation and commissioning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering.
• 3–10 years of experience in LPG system design and engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Department of Energy (DoE) regulations and approval procedures.
• Proven experience in Abu Dhabi LPG or gas system projects.
• Solid understanding of relevant international standards, including:
• NFPA 54 / NFPA 58
• IGEM standards
• Other UAE and Abu Dhabi-specific gas regulations
• Ability to design LPG systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
• Familiarity with CAD and hydraulic design tools is an advantage.
• Arabic Language Speaking is Required.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare LPG system design drawings, calculations, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with DoE and Civil Defense requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authorities for design approvals.
• Conduct site visits and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
• Support clients with operational manuals and maintenance recommendations.
