Procurement Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly strategic Procurement Manager to take the helm of our purchasing operations. This critical role involves managing the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing and vendor negotiation to contract management and cost control. The ideal candidate will be adept at building robust supply chains, identifying efficiencies, and securing the best value for the organization without compromising on quality or sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's financial goals, operational needs, and quality standards.
• Manage the entire procurement lifecycle, including supplier identification, qualification, selection, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers and vendors, ensuring they meet Gastro-Naut Hospitality’s stringent quality, ethical, and sustainability requirements.
• Negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and optimize value across all categories (e.g., food & beverage, equipment, services, operating supplies).
• Develop and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
• Monitor market trends, raw material costs, and supply chain risks to inform procurement decisions and strategies.
• Implement and maintain robust inventory management practices to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with department heads (e.g., F&B, Operations, Finance) to understand their needs and ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the procurement department, regularly reporting on savings, supplier performance, and other relevant metrics.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in procurement operations.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
• Manage and resolve supplier disputes and performance issues effectively.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree or CIPS certification (or equivalent) is a plus.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably within the hospitality, F&B, or retail sectors.
• Proven track record of successful negotiation, cost reduction, and supplier relationship management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, forecast trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Expertise in contract management and understanding of procurement law and regulations.
• Proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach.
• High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
