Job Description
AL-FARABI MEDICAL CENTER is seeking a highly professional and customer-focused Medical Center Receptionist. This role is the face of our center, responsible for creating a welcoming environment and ensuring efficient patient flow and administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors, handling check-in and check-out processes courteously and efficiently.
- Manage the scheduling of patient appointments, optimizing the clinical calendar and coordinating between departments.
- Handle patient registration, verify and update insurance/demographic information, and process payments.
- Answer and triage incoming phone calls, addressing patient inquiries professionally.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and assist with organizing patient records and administrative documents.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant administrative certification is a plus.
- Mandatory experience working within medical centers or hospitals in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
- Exceptional verbal communication and telephone etiquette skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and proficiency in scheduling software and MS Office Suite.
