Job Description
Gulf Model School, Dubai is urgently seeking an experienced and well-organized Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage all government liaison and staff documentation processes. The ideal candidate must be familiar with UAE labour and immigration procedures and capable of handling applications and renewals independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage staff visa processing, renewals, cancellations, and Emirates ID applications.
- Handle labour contracts, work permit applications, and renewals via MOHRE.
- Maintain accurate staff records in government portals (MOHRE, ICP, and GDRFA).
- Coordinate medical fitness testing and health insurance applications/renewals.
- Ensure compliance with UAE government regulations and updates related to school staff.
- Liaise professionally with government departments as required.
- Support the HR department with onboarding and staff document control.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2â3 years UAE experience in a PRO / Government Relations role
- Strong knowledge of MOHRE, GDRFA, ICP, and other government systems
- Excellent communication in English (Arabic language is an an added advantage)
- Ability to manage deadlines and maintain confidentiality
- Presentable, organised, and proactive
