Job Description

As an A/C & Refrigeration Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the hotel’s cooling and refrigeration systems, ensuring efficiency, safety, and guest comfort.

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on A/C and refrigeration systems.
• Inspect, adjust, and repair air conditioning units, chillers, split systems, and refrigeration equipment.
• Handle maintenance of walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, water coolers, and other appliances.
• Conduct regular checks of AHUs, cooling towers, and perform condenser/filter cleaning.
• Install new equipment when required and ensure proper performance and safety compliance.
• Respond promptly to guest and staff reports of equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and performance checks.
• Support the hotel’s energy conservation program and suggest cost-saving improvements.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, hotel regulations, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain high levels of hygiene, appearance, and professional conduct.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in property or hotel maintenance preferred (but not essential).
• Strong technical knowledge of A/C and refrigeration systems.
• Hands-on approach with a can-do attitude.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work shifts as required by hotel operations.
