Job Description

Job Summary:

Grand Hyatt Dubai is seeking a Housekeeping Team Leader – Waterpark to ensure exceptional guest service, operational efficiency, and team development within the Waterpark Housekeeping Department. The role involves supervising staff, maintaining cleanliness standards, managing resources, and supporting departmental goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:


  • Ensure colleagues deliver the brand promise and exceptional guest service
  • Handle guest and internal customer complaints courteously and efficiently
  • Maintain positive guest and colleague interactions

Financial / Productivity:


  • Maximize colleague productivity through multi-skilling and flexible scheduling
  • Manage utility and payroll costs effectively
  • Implement new technology and equipment to improve productivity

Operational Duties:


  • Provide professional and efficient service following park standards
  • Maintain knowledge of chemical products and housekeeping equipment
  • Inspect all facilities, furniture, guest corridors, lift areas, and service areas
  • Ensure proper handling of Lost & Found items
  • Monitor guest supplies, amenities, and stationery

Personnel Management:


  • Supervise departmental colleagues, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
  • Oversee punctuality, appearance, and grooming standards
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members
  • Support departmental and park-wide training initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with fire, hygiene, health, and safety regulations

Other Duties:


  • Adhere to park rules, regulations, and departmental manuals
  • Attend departmental meetings and training schedules
  • Undertake reasonable secondary tasks assigned by Housekeeping Assistant Manager
  • Participate in inventory checks and equipment audits

Qualifications & Requirements:


  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in hotel, waterpark, or amusement park operations
  • Strong problem-solving, administrative, and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team
