Job Overview

We are hiring a Medical Microbiology Technologist to join our professional healthcare team in Dubai. The role involves performing advanced diagnostic tests on clinical specimens to detect and analyze microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. The successful candidate will contribute directly to accurate diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of infectious diseases while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, label, and process clinical specimens (blood, urine, tissue, etc.) for microbiological testing.
• Isolate and identify microorganisms using culture techniques, Gram staining, biochemical tests, and molecular diagnostics (PCR).
• Perform antimicrobial susceptibility testing to guide physicians in selecting effective treatments.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, prepare reagents, and ensure strict adherence to quality control standards.
• Document and report results accurately and on time to support patient care.
• Follow all biosafety and infection-control protocols in handling hazardous materials.
• Collaborate with laboratory teams, doctors, and nursing staff to ensure seamless healthcare delivery.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Medical Microbiology or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory environment.
• Valid DHA license as a Medical Microbiologist.
• Strong technical expertise in microbiology techniques and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, and communication skills.
