Job Summary:

Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi is seeking a talented Pastry Chef to lead its pastry and bakery production. The role is responsible for ensuring consistent quality and creativity across outlets and banquets, while aligning with Hyatt’s brand standards and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage the pastry and bakery production operations efficiently
  • Ensure product quality, presentation, and consistency across all outlets and events
  • Maintain cost control and contribute to financial objectives of the department
  • Lead and train the pastry team to deliver innovative and high-standard desserts and baked goods
  • Collaborate with the culinary leadership team on menu planning and execution
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and operational standards

Qualifications & Requirements:


  • Apprenticeship or professional diploma in Food Production with pastry specialization
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or Assistant Pastry Chef in a large operation
  • Strong practical and operational skills with solid administrative abilities
  • Creative flair and passion for developing innovative desserts and pastries
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
