Barista

The Barista will be an expert in crafting high-quality coffee and specialty beverages, contributing to the premium dining experience. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining espresso equipment, managing the coffee station, and providing knowledgeable recommendations to guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Beverage Crafting: Prepare and serve a full range of hot and cold beverages, including espresso, filtered coffee, specialty drinks, and tea, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
• Equipment Management: Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other brewing equipment, performing daily cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Product Knowledge: Educate guests on various coffee beans, roasts, and preparation methods, and confidently offer tailored recommendations.
• Station Management: Monitor and replenish all coffee, tea, milk, and supply stocks, ensuring the station is clean, organized, and compliant with health codes.
• Order Accuracy: Process drink orders accurately using the POS system and coordinate with servers for timely delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven work experience as a Barista in an upscale café or restaurant setting.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge in operating and troubleshooting commercial espresso equipment; expertise in latte art is a plus.
• Product Expertise: Knowledge of various coffee origins, flavor profiles, and advanced brewing techniques.
• Attention to Detail for recipe accuracy, drink temperature, and presentation.
• Excellent Customer Service and communication skills.
