ELAIA (Bistro | Wine Bar) is urgently seeking a hands-on, energetic, and passionate culinary professional to join our kitchen team as a Demi Chef de Partie (CDP) for the Cold Section. We highly value applicants with European experience in the restaurant industry.

Job Description: The Demi CDP will be responsible for the preparation and execution of all items originating from the cold section, which typically includes appetizers, salads, cold entrΓ©es, charcuterie, and garnishes. This role demands fundamental culinary skills, strong attention to detail in plating and presentation, and the ability to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and food safety in a fast-paced environment.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in a high-quality restaurant is required.
  • Fundamental culinary skills relevant to the cold section (e.g., knife skills, vegetable preparation, basic sauce/vinaigrette making).
  • Experience as a Demi CDP or strong Commis I is highly desirable.
  • A strong passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional food quality.
  • Specific European experience in similar roles is a significant advantage.
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and maintain an organized station.
