Job Description

The House Manager will serve as the chief administrator and coordinator, responsible for ensuring the property runs flawlessly and efficiently. This role demands exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and a proactive approach to managing all household operations, staff, and external vendor relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations & Logistics: Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the property, including scheduling repairs, managing inventory, and coordinating services.
  • Staff Supervision: Manage, train, and schedule any supporting household staff (e.g., housekeepers, drivers, etc.).
  • Financial & Administrative: Handle administrative duties such as budgeting, bill payments, record-keeping, and organizing schedules.
  • Guest Services: Ensure impeccable hospitality for all guests, arranging accommodations, and coordinating events or social functions.
  • Vendor Management: Act as the primary point of contact for external vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality of service.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a House Manager or senior management role in a private residence or high-end hospitality environment.
  • Exceptional Organizational and Time Management Skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong Leadership and Communication abilities to manage staff and interact professionally with principals and guests.
  • Required: High level of Discretion and Confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in financial record-keeping, budgeting, and relevant software.
