- The Assistant Accounts Manager will supervise our high-volume financial transactions and vendor relations. You will be responsible for setting performance goals, ensuring compliance with UAE VAT regulations, and driving process improvements within the accounting department.
- Roles & Responsibilities:
- Supervisory Oversight: Supervise the processing of all invoices, payment runs, and employee expense reports.
- Transaction Accuracy: Ensure the timely and accurate posting of every transaction into the group's accounting system.
- Vendor Management: Monitor and reconcile vendor accounts, resolve payment-related discrepancies, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Policy Development: Develop and maintain standardized accounts payable policies and internal control procedures.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accounts payable reports, including aging analysis and detailed cash flow projections.
- Audit Leadership: Provide necessary documentation and support for both internal and external financial audits.
- Performance Management: Set departmental performance goals, conduct evaluations, and ensure the team adheres to all quality standards and deadlines.
- Candidate Profile:
- 4–7 years of experience specifically in accounts payable, preferably within a large corporate group.
- Strong proficiency in top-tier ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, alongside expert MS Excel skills.
- Superior attention to detail and advanced problem-solving abilities.
