Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai is seeking an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join its professional culinary team. This role is ideal for a skilled kitchen leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is committed to delivering high-quality food standards and exceptional guest satisfaction.
As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to manage daily kitchen operations, ensure food quality and consistency, supervise kitchen staff, and maintain hygiene and safety standards in line with hotel and UAE regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
- Supervise and guide kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and productivity
- Ensure food preparation, presentation, and taste meet hotel quality standards
- Monitor portion control and minimize food wastage
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
- Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation
- Train and develop junior kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times
Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a hotel or restaurant
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent knowledge of international and regional cuisines
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Candidates must be currently available in the UAE
