Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai is looking for a talented and creative Sushi Chef to join its dynamic culinary team. This role is ideal for a sushi specialist who is passionate about Japanese cuisine, maintains high standards of food quality, and consistently delivers exceptional dining experiences to guests.
As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing authentic and innovative sushi dishes while ensuring the highest standards of hygiene, presentation, and taste in a professional hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present a wide variety of sushi, sashimi, maki, and Japanese dishes
- Ensure freshness, quality, and proper storage of seafood and ingredients
- Maintain high standards of food presentation and consistency
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines at all times
- Manage sushi counter operations during service hours
- Assist in menu planning and development of new sushi items
- Monitor stock levels and minimize food wastage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi preparation area
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef in a hotel or high-end restaurant
- Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and sushi preparation techniques
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Professional attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Candidates must be currently available in the UAE
