Junior Accountant

Sunrich Shipchandlers is seeking a diligent and motivated Junior Accountant to join its finance team in Sharjah. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate or candidate with minimal experience who is keen to grow in a finance role within the dynamic marine supply sector. The Junior Accountant will provide essential support to the accounting department, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and efficiently.

• Responsibilities:
• Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping, including recording accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts monthly.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budget analysis.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
• Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (e.g., IFRS/GAAP).
• High level of proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
