Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai is hiring a motivated and detail-oriented Commis 2 (Pastry) to join its professional pastry and bakery team. This role is ideal for aspiring pastry chefs who are passionate about desserts, baked goods, and presentation, and who want to grow their culinary career in a reputed hotel environment.
As a Commis 2 (Pastry), you will support senior pastry chefs in daily production while ensuring quality, consistency, and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of pastries, desserts, cakes, and baked items
- Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation standards
- Ensure freshness and quality of all pastry products
- Support senior chefs during daily kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pastry section
- Comply with food safety and HACCP guidelines
- Assist in stock handling, storage, and inventory rotation
- Minimize food wastage and maintain cost control
- Participate in training and skill development activities
Requirements & Skills
- Previous experience in a hotel or professional pastry kitchen preferred
- Basic knowledge of pastry techniques and baking methods
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Candidates must be currently available in the UAE
